Fit Tips
If one of your measurements is on the borderline between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If your measurements for hips and waist correspond to two different suggested sizes, order the one indicated by your hip measurement.
Garment to Garment Comparison
An alternate method is to compare your own garment size to ours. You can do this by measuring the ½ chest of your garment (laid flat, measured 0.5in below the sleeve join, from side seam to side seam) and compare it to ours. Please refer to the individual garment measurements, shown on each style page, to determine your garment to garment size comparison. Use these measurements as a guide when selecting the right size garment, but also take into consideration the garment fit.
A. NECK
Measure around the middle of your neck at collar level, keeping the tape loose to make allowance for comfort.
B. CHEST
Measure under your arms and across shoulder blades, around the fullest part of your chest. Hold one finger between body and tape.
C. WAIST
Measure around your natural waistline while holding one finger between body and tape. Measure over shirt at position your pants would normally sit.
D. IN SEAM
Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the inside leg of a well-fitting pair of pants.

DNC garments are tested for UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) in accordance with AS/NZS4399:1996. The
level of protection varies depending on the fabric and colour of the garment. 15+ good protection, 30+ / 35+
very good protection, 40+ / 50+ excellent protection.
100% Cotton
DNC has an extensive 100% cotton range for a natural feeling garment with anti-static and electrical protection
features.
Flame Retardant Patron Saint®
DNC Patron Saint® flame retardant range complies with Class EN ISO11612. Also EEC Standards, EN470-1,

Anti-static
The latest technology is used in the production of DNC carbon grid anti-static jacket and pants, complies
BS5958.2-1991. DNC cotton garments containing no metal buttons or zippers are also classified under DNC
anti-static.
Electrical Protection
DNC cotton made garments containing no metal buttons or zippers and are suitable for use in electrical or gas
trades.
3M Scotchlite Australia Supply
DNC use 3M Reflective tape throughout 99% of the Hi-Visibility range. 3M Australia supply is only provided for
distribution to approved 3M Australia supply partners with national wide quality guarantee. Check details under
product for relevant 3M codes. All 3M reflective tape complies with AS/NZS1906.4:2010 for Hi-Vis material.
